This original drawing is the pure essence of German fashion history. It comes from the pen of Wolfgang Joop and dates back to the summer collection of 1984 ("So 84") – a time when Joop established his unmistakable style internationally.

The sheet shows a typical, confident 80s look: a voluminous blouse made of "lacquered batiste" (a very avant-garde, slightly shiny material at the time) combined with classic gabardine trousers. Joop didn't just sketch the silhouette here, but also technically thought through the design: handwritten instructions such as "bottom-stitched pocket" or "piqué" on the shoulders document his commitment to handcrafted perfection.

The absolute highlight for collectors are the original fabric samples mounted on the sheet in the lower right corner. The transparent white of the batiste and the textured black of the gabardine bring the drawn design to life through touch. You are holding not just a work of art, but a genuine working document from the studio – complete with the original adhesive strips and the master's swift, energetic handwriting.

A unique piece of rare intensity that perfectly preserves the spirit of 1984 – coolness, volume and exquisite materials.
